Dr. Garner Newton is board certified in Orthopedic surgery and has the distinction of being subspecialty board certified in sports medicine both by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. Dr. Garner Newton is recognized as one of the “Best Doctors in Dallas,” awarded by D Magazine and is the chairman of the Orthopedic department of Texas Health Presbyterian of Dallas. Dr. Newton is committed to personalized patient care. He specializes in the treatment of sports related injuries and subspecializes in shoulder and knee surgery. He has extensive training and experience in minimally invasive and arthroscopic surgical techniques.
