Cameron N. Carmody, MD

Dr. Carmody is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic spine surgeon with extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of conditions affecting the spine from disc surgery to scoliosis. A native of Fresno California, Dr. Carmody worked his way independently through college while maintaining a high GPA. After he graduated from the University of California at Irvine, he was awarded the Regent’s Scholarship at UC-Irvine Medical School and graduated in the top five percent of his class and selected into the AOA Honor Society. After medical school, he completed a full year of fellowship training in spinal reconstructive surgery before starting clinical practice in 1996. Dr. Carmody likes to say, “I wasn’t born in Texas, but I got here as quick as I could”.
